Joyce lives with her mother, Shirley and her aunt Bam. She usually cleans, and does the chores all the time. Aunt Bam thinks its because she doesn't have a man. But its because she is really just lonely and she's hiding from the past. So Aunt Bam scores her a date with Shirley's doctor, the handsome Dr. Wallace After Karen gives her a makeover for the date. Which it was then revealed that she had been hiding her good dresses in her closet. Dr. Wallace then rushes in telling them about Shirley's unexpected visit to the hospital. Shirley later dies. Afraid of what their lives will be like, Madea comes and lays down the law.
