She has him sign divorce papers and leaves him. In Diary of a Mad Black Woman The Movie, Joe is shown to be Madea's brother. Joe is older than Madea and gets high on viagra with his friends. As Charles' father, Daddy Charles does in the play. Joe is always making fat jokes about his sister. He's always flirting with somebody. Like in Diary of a Mad Black Woman, he was flirting with Helen and her mother, Myrtle. He can also act like a pervert because he's always looking at women in swimsuits and bikinies on magazines.
